How It Works

Retinol can penetrate deep into the skin where helps boosts collagen synthesis, increases elasticity, and supports connective tissue repair. When using retinol, you are getting your skin cells to turn over at a higher rate. Some people may experience irritation during the first couple of days of use - this is what we call the adjustment period but fret not – it’s all normal and part of the process and you need to stick to it to rip the amazing benefits of retinol. Also, with time your skin gets used to retinol and the irritation will stop.

1. Helps even out skin tone: Retinol helps improve the texture of your skin and the tone. When used continuously, it’ll help fade hyperpigmentation.

2. Reduces signs of ageing: Due to its ability to increase skin cell turnover, you’ll notice a more youthful quality to your skin when using retinol.

3. Clears acne: Retinol decreases the function of overactive oil glands and unclogs pores – it helps rebalance sebum production.

4. Boosts collagen production: Retinol also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It does this by preventing collagen and elastin depletion.
